It takes an hour for the stone to fully freeze; or just wanting it to be chilled, 30 minutes would suffice. It begins heating up immediately when placed in an oven. After 20-30 minutes it is extremely hot and ready to serve or bake on (it can be heated up to 260C). Once chilled/heated, the stone will stay cold/warm for approximately 45 minutes.
Paddle is dishwasher, oven and freezer safe. The Acacia bowl is hand wash only.
The natural colour variations and marbling of soapstone make each piece unique. The bowl is also handcrafted from Acacia.

Have to say I am so impressed with my paddle. Definitely worth the money. Wasn’t going to leave a review, but used it for the first time this weekend and had to shout about it. I served lovely hot flat bread which stayed warm throughout our meal. Love it and loved the quick efficient service of Gelliou. Will be back for more I’m sure.
